With Refugio faltering and Ganado looking like it wants to repeat, there has been a major shufling in 2AD1 ranks.

It is not unusual at all to see the Mart Panthers in the playoffs, but after five losses during the regular season, here they are; in th e second round of the this year's post district games against another perennial winner, Lovelady, which should advance.

Ganado should be a clear winner over Thorndale, but only if they do not take the Bulogs lightlu. Thorndale has six straight wins, including last week's 42-7 decisive victory over Moody; also the Bulldogs have non-district wins over Hempstead and Thrall.
