Crystal City Lighting Up Friday Nights in South Texas



How good it is to see the Crystal City Javelinas off to a great (5-0) start in 2024. If their luck holds and they’re able to run out their 3AD1 District 14 schedule, including with wins over Hondo and Lytle, they could begin the playoffs undefeated uder Head Coach Desmon Battle. The Javelinas were 5-6 in 2023, and 3-8 in 2022.


The most critical wins so far in 2024 for the Javelinas have no doubt been their 30-25 victory over Uvalde on Sept. 20th, and their 23-20 win over Carrizo Springs on Sept. 27th.
