Andy Pate Jr. earned a BA from UT Austin and also has earned the STM, a second master's and a doctorate in theology and preaching. He has served churches in California, Georgia, Iowa, and Texas. In addition, he has taught western civilization over 12 years at the collegiate level and been a director of admissions and financial aid. Too, he has published in Pulpit Today and has one "mystery" novel, The Speech, plus numerous other publications. For over 10 years he wrote weekly columns for his hometown newspaper.
