No, for In the first instance, wanting to hold political office in the USA is itself a sure sign of instability. Stable people are usually satisfied with where they are, and they are well aware of the instability caused by politics in the USA.
Indeed, stable people accept who they are and find authentic personal satisfaction in that reality.
Stable people perceive USA politics to be so unstable as to promote instability widely; anyone who participates can be made unstable by an environment that creates madness through its gross neglect of sanity.
The only way a stable person can hold public office in the USA is for others to convince stable persons they should hold office for themselves, but more importantly, for the sake of their nation's health
Which is very difficult, if not impossible, to do. Sane people do keep up with politics, but what they learn from that "keeping up" is that politics is not a realm in which they desire to participate. They see quite well the dangers in holding political office in the USA.
But deep down, stable persons do want everyone to experience stability; they want such not just for themselves but for others. So, if other stable friends can convince them to run for political office for the sake of the nation and for humanity as a whole, they just may succumb to political temptation, the notion that they might actually make a difference.
Still, the possibility of stable persons ever running for USA politcal office is itself extremely remote.
