The Panthers may yet challenge favorite Gruver for the state title. They go against Frost this Friday, then close out the regular season against Goldthwaite, with both contests on the Panther home field.

Kevin Hoffman is in his 9th year as the Panther head coach. Phillip Gibson has held the same position for the Frost Polar Bears since 2022 (in his third year).

De Montrel Medlock, senior wide receiver, sparks the Panther attack. If the Polar Bears, currently 4-4, end up with more wins than losses, they will have had their best year since 2018 (7-4).
