The people we should most admire are not on the screens of our TV or local cinemas. They're nearby, perhaps even in the same room, or next door, or just down the street.
We know them, but we do not acknowledge their goodness, the traits, that is. that they possess and do well with, but which, for the most part, we take for granted, failing to realize that we should be emulating them.
Who are they? Let me give you some hints: #1, they are not troubled with the problems of the world; they simply live well in the world in which they work. #2) they like us, they see the good in us, #3) and perhaps most impo56wly, theyare always ready to help us when we most need h4lp.
Deep down, we know there is goodness in the world, and good people living out that goodness. But alas. We're human. We get caught up in the showmanship of our celebrities and often wish we could be more like them.
How wrong we are. We look in the wrong places for our role models to emulate. In reality, they are not far off, but very close.
Let's end our escapism. Let's follow the lead of the good people we already know.
