Trump in a Slump

Two matters are demanding Donald Trump' situation as we enter the closing days of summer 2025:

One is the Tariff mess. Voters simply do not understand what Trump's objective is; and

The second is the overall critical issue posed by "the Epstein Files' and what they might reveal about Trump and his connections to Jeffrey Epstein. who was convicted of pedophilia then died in prison.

Of the two, the second poses the more serious challenge to the president. What should he do to minimize any damage that might arise from a public disclosure of the Epstein files?

In my judgment, Trump probably could survive any such disclosure; after all, US voters have known for a long while that he is far from being a perfect man; and specifically, that he has problems upholding a healthy sexuality and is known to lie about almost everything, yet he has twice been elected to the highest office in the land.

Indeed, the remaining years of the Trump presidency will not be easy for the guy. There are reports that his health is failing, signifying that time may tell us the final answers concerning any and all of the issues that might be surrounding Trump's presidency.

In any case, we the people must pay attention and make our own individual decisions.
