Ropes (5-0) and Tahoka (4-1) battle one another. in Tahoka, this Friday, October 11, to determine which will be the leader of District 3Â in 2AD1.
To date, they have had no opponent in common. Seagraves and Plains also should be considered District 3 contenders. Smyer and Sundown are winless in pre-district play.
Beau Riker is the Ropes head football coach. Cody Bounds claims the same position for Tahoka.

Among their 5 wins the Ropes Eagles have shutout their last opponents: 42-0 over Sudan, 49-0 over Olten and 44-0 over Forsan. Tahoka shutout SATLCA 56-0 in their opener on August 30.
