The Finals:

1A IRA, 7-6 over Fayetteville
2A COLLINSVILE defeaed Hawley, 9-0
3A FRANKLN won over Gunter, 5-1
4A LIBERTY-HILL defeated Calallen, 3-1
5A GRAPEVINE over Lucas Lovejoy, 9-5
6A TOMBALL outlasted Pearland, 4-1

For the last several weeks Tomball has been ranked #3 nationally. For the 24 season the impressive Cougars shut out 40% of their opponents (16 of 40). Perhaps their showing in the state playoffs will add a national title to the one they claimed over Pearland?
