Edna Cowboys of 3AD1 Hoping to Lasso a Crown in 2024

But the Cowboys are still young.  If not 2024, then 2025 may be THE year.  Sophomore running back Mike Kunkel will see plenty of action, as will junior running back Tate Mitchell.   Who will be the quarterback for HC Jimmie Mitchell’s squad in 2024?  That is, of course, the question.  Apparently, there will be a season-long battle between sophomore Mitchell and senior Trevor Floyd. Senior wide receiver Braylen Harris hopes they both do well.

The Cowboys will seek revenge for last year’s loss to Refugio on Friday, September 13th; and to payback their 2023 loss to Ganado they will face the Tigers on October 25th; both games will be on the Cowboys" home turf.
