Roosevelt Eagles (Lubbock) Compete for District 2 Lead, 3AD2

The Roosevelt (Lubbock) Eagles are certainly one of the surprise teams in 3Ad2 football for 2024.  Their one loss in their first six games was  to a very Good Hawley team, 14-6, on September 6.


The Eagles face Muleshoe (4-2) on October 11, in a district encounter.  Following that game, the Eagles will battle Idalou, Littlefield and Slaton, in that order, to end both seasonal and district competition.

Eagles head Coach Carter Robinson (photo) is in but his 2nd year in that position.  For 2023, the Eagles went. 9-4. and were eliminated from the playoffs by Wall, 35-6, in a subregional matchup.
