The Cougars of Rosebud- Lott are looking to climb higher in 2AD1 under 5th year head coach Brandon Hicks.
And Hicks has the tools to make the possibility become reality, namely in senior wide receiver Carson Kahlig and sophomore quarterback Pryce Rabroker plus a surprisingly strong contribution from freshman running back Zaylon Wells.
To date, the cougars are 4-1, with their only loss to Thrall, 39-21. Under Hicks, the Cougars soared to a 7-4record in 2022 only to win just 3 of 10 games in 2023.
Riesel is Rosebud-Lott’s next opponent, the two meet on October 11th in Rosebud-Lott, with the Cougars favored to win that one and follow it up with wins over Moody, Bruceville-Eddy. Marlin and Crawford. Among these latter District 13 foes, Marlin appears to be Rosebud-Lott’s chief obstacle to a 9-1 season.
