Tidehaven Tigers, Our #1 Preseason 3AD2 for 2024



 
The Tigers have not shied away from a tough schedule.  In successive weeks they start the season against Palacios, Goliad, Hallettsville and Ganado, the latter being the top ranking 2AD1 preseason squad.   Also, they plan to scrimmage against Refugio before the season begins.

Runners-up to Gunter in 2023, the Tigers return a hefty group of players, including all state utility man, Jachen Duran (6' 4" 235, photo).

At times in most every game, Duran has seemed to be all over the field, on both sides of the ball. (photo below)

 
But the toughest task for the tigers ust may be winning their district.  They close the season on Nov. 8 against arch-rival East Bernard, in East Bernard.

Tidehaven High is located in the town of El Maton, about six miles east of Blessing.
