Will the Grand Saline Indians Humble the Lone Oak Buffaloes?

The Buffaloes of Lone Oak possess one of the finest 5-0 records to date in the 2024 football season.  They shutout Winona (27-0) and Chisum (56-0) and can also claim a 41-22 win over a very good Tioga team, along with victories over Rains and a strong Big Sandy eleven.



But the chief 2024 obstacle for Lone Oak's title hopes could come from within its own District 9 of 3AD2.


Grand Saline has a 5-0 record and should extend it Friday when the Indians face a winless Harmony.  Grand Saline and Lone Oak will have their determinative clash on October 25, in Lone Oak. Chances are. however, that will not be the end of their 2024 competition.  They could well meet again in the playoffs.
