Woodsboro Eagles Hoping to Soar in 2024 2AD2

When Jonathan Lesak moved from Edna to take over as AD and HFC for Woodsboro, he had high hopes to improve the Eagles football program.  So far, that has not happened; the most Lesak’s teams have won is 4 games, in each of 20023 and 2022.  But he and Coach Jaizell Bay (phto) have high hopes that 2024 could be a banner year for the Eagles.

With the return of MVP senior Layton Niemann, along with other key players form 2023, the Eagles themselves are looking for a big improvement.  They open by hosting Bloomington on August 30th, followed by going to Charlotte the next week, and hosting Kaufer the week after that.

The Eagles wind up their 2024 season by hosting Ben Bolt on November 8th.
